A defined workflow for your inventory
Define one finished kit
Provide a bill of materials, the quantity of each component, finished-kit SKU and reference photos. A two-piece bundle and two individually labeled units are different jobs. Confirm how inbound components and outbound finished kits will be recorded before production.
Assembly, packaging and labeling
Work may include combining products, adding inserts, poly bagging, bubble wrapping and applying set or product labels. Packaging must hold the intended set together. Marketplace-specific labeling is reviewed against the relevant product and shipment requirements.
Quality checks and exceptions
Agree on inspection depth, component checks, reference samples and photo reporting. Missing components, damaged products and assembly changes are reported for direction. Rework and additional handling require a revised scope rather than being silently added to the original job.
Quote inputs and cost structure
Send component counts, finished-kit quantities, SKU variations, dimensions, fragility, packaging specifications and desired completion date. Labor may depend on assembly steps and complexity; materials, storage and outbound shipping remain separate unless expressly included.
